Title:  Business Process / Proposal Management Analyst

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an eloquent, persuasive Business Process / Proposal Management consultant to join our IT team who work with SVAM’s internal and external stack holders in identifying new opportunities and support overall strategic planning.  They should be consistent, detail-oriented,  articulate, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines.


They will be responsible for:


  • Work with diverse account executives and business development/proposal teams, to ensure proposal responses carry out winning capture strategies and competitive discriminators, from receipt of an RFP to submission of the final proposal. Ensure win themes are articulated in such a way to meet / exceed the client’s requirements.
  • Gathering information, formatting the information according to the company’s policies, obtaining supervisor approval, and sending the proposal to the appropriate source.
  • Lead storyboard sessions with bid / proposal team members.
  • Responsible for keeping existing public sector contracts (Federal, State, and Local government) in good standing.
  • Research and add new private and public sector channels for additional sales and lead generation.
  • Responsibilities include keeping company profiles on public and private sector client portals current
  • Ensure Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Certifications are current and in good standing, and are renewed in a timely manner.
  • Explore new opportunities for M/WBE certifications to qualify for additional opportunities to do business with State, City and Local governments.


Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer/Journalism/English or related field.
  • Previous experience in proposal writing / Contract management.
  • Good understanding on state/federal laws on proposal writing / contract management / business entity certifications.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Giving presentations to the external and internal stack holders
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good strategic planning abilities.
